Ski holiday Portes du Soleil

If you want a white christmas or haven’t yet planned your ski holiday don’t wait for the snow alert!  This popular area books quickly so now time to book your ski holiday and particularly if you want to enjoy the best accommodation in Portes du Soleil along with great snow.

Our luxurious home makes a perfect base for a ski holiday, centrally located in Montriond, Portes du Soleil.  We love it when the view from apartment Deux Chevaux transforms into an alpine winter wonderland…follow us on social media (below) to stay up to date.

Often even in November here Snow is covering the slopes all the way into Morzine with Pleney slopes and from Deux Chevaux and we all wish for the lifts to open…

We are are always out exploring as soon as there is any powder in Avoriaz and Ardent.

Avoriaz is normally scheduled to open 16th December so it is time to book your ski holiday accommodation or even beat the crowds and book a few days of pre-season skiing or snowboarding if we have an early snow fall.

As soon as there is a snow alert for Portes du Soleil it is likely to get busy on the slopes so this could be a good year to have a guide and explore a little more of the Back country.  We had an amazing week on Mint Snowboarding’s back country course last season so can recommend booking with Mint Snowboarding.

Whether you love to explore off-piste or enjoy the groomed pistes, our Chalet allows easy to access the lifts of Morzine, Avoriaz and Ardent (our favourite since it is always a little quieter and gives quick access to Swiss slopes too).

We have put the time in to exploring so that, when you stay with us, we can point you in the right direction to have a fantastic ski holiday in Portes du Soleil ski area.
